Default AfterShocks!!!!!

I picked up my bike from AfterShocks today (Palo Alto, CA), got the forked revalved and rear suspension added 10mm spacer... Man I'm a true believer now that getting the forks done and rear shock is one of the first thing that needs to be done before even getting a new exhaust... The bike feels like 100lbs lighter... Is it just me or is this how it's suppose to feel?... Kudos to Phil (owner), he's a very nice guy and he explained every little detailed before and after the bike was done... So for me if you are buying a RC the 1st thing to do is your suspension... That's just me but after reading a lot of threads here I ignore most of those claims about suspension but now like I said I'm now a true believer....

Did you re-valve / spring the rear shock? How much was it. It was my understanding that this is not worth doing (rather it's best to get a new aftermarket shock), but tells us bit more...

I'd be intersted to see a pic of that. Considering the sweet spot for the RC51 is 17-22mm of rear ride height, a 10mm shim under the rear shock would yield 36mm of rear ride height. Not to mention, it wouldn't fit on the stud, and still be able to get a nut on...........

I saw something about a shop online that revalves and resprings stock rc51 shocks. I think it is boykin suspension. Has anyone here ever used them? I tried to call and find out how much it costs once. Never found out though.

i know the suspension makes a world of difference but is it worth revalving and re springing the forks/ rear shock? i know kits for it are somewhere around $200 if i remember correctly right? because if it yeilds that good of a difference that money im getting from working two jobs may come into good use soon

my only concern would be riding a passenger on the back, cause i am thinking thats not recommeded once i do all of that...
