Default my RC project update

ok so I'm building a RC from basically the ground up. found a old track bike someone was parting out and bought basically this

it came with misc other little things like some rash calipers, ecu, one scratched headlight etc. but got a decent deal on it. so first order of buisness has been to strip it down and powdercoat the frame. ordered the tools, and another member on here sent me his to help for the time being (thanx by the way, I'll get that back to you soon) I sold the reworked race forks and will have ohlins heading my way soon. got some DK clip ons, a sp2 swinger (I'm still waiting to arrive ) and thats about it.

my plan is to piece together some bodywork and get it painted like this.

in the next month hopefully I'll have gold marchesini mags, galfer waves f/r, 520 setup and some tires headed my way. will keep this updated as things progress. just figured I would put up what I got so far.

oh and always accepting donations of parts you may have laying around not using

ok not a fun day. dropping the motor out of the frame is not fun.

got the sp2 swinger (still need to find all the bolts, spacers, whatever I need to instal but its here)

so off they go to the powdercoater after I get the bearings pressed out of the swingarm and the RR swingarm I'm putting on my other bike. the headers are getting ceramic coated (sp2 headers) so I can finally start reasembly on this bastid.

Looks like fun. Wish I had the kind of time to do something like this. Well, I guess I'd need time and mechanical skills too. Keep us updated on the progress.
