Yep. Great track, rather technical, good grip - lots of fun. It gets very hot in the summer, so hydrate well.

A lot depends on the speed at which you ride, technique, bike setup, etc. I've had a lot of success there with both Michelin Power Race (PRC front, Medium rear), and also with the Pirelli Diablo Corsa III's. The Diablos are more of a street/trackday tire, where the PR's are race tires that will be very sticky but won't warm as quickly.

PR-C is the newer (newest?) generation DOT front from Michelin as I understand it. A little more angular, aggressive profile than the PR1/PR2, which was more rounded. Makes turn in quicker, and the grip is outstanding.

Default Yeah I like it too

Will be going back there in the fall. I've only been once and that was to Jason Pridmores school so i'm looking forward to going back. Theres a couple of corners that really take some thought so its best to follow a regulars lines if you can tag along, bwhip might be just that guy, I think I followed Andrew Trevitt.

Spring Mountain Motorsports Park- I've ridden it several times,, It's an excellent track. I've tried many different tire manufacturer/size/grip combo's there and the best I've found were the Metzeler Rennsports in soft compound with a 190/55 rear,, I think the rennsport has been replaced by the "racetec" but it should be very similar. The Brigestone BT002's in soft compound with a 190/55 rear also worked very well there.
Felt very planted and confident even after over 100 laps in a nice hot Nevada day.

bwhip,

That RC is gorgeous, did you do the paint or did you have it done? Are those wings stickers or are they painted?
