two motorcycle cops were killed here over the weekend, one by 3 illigal imigrants speeding & illegally passing cars, the other was by some 19yr old who had an exstensive list of traffic violations, bailed and ran into universal studios.
What's bad also, sometime awhile back (some of you AZ people might remember) that a Scottsdale P.D. cop, off duty... hit a uniformed "on duty" DPS bike cop. I don't remember, but the cop was badly injured. The Scottsdale P.D. guy??? He did a hit and run about it. Was drunk off his ass. Final outcome? Extensive suspension, but never fired.
Thats too bad. I cant count the number of times I've been working on a pt. on the highway and had tards flying by at mach 8 despite the pile of emergency vehicles sitting there. On quite a few occasions I've had the pleasure of hearing brakes locking up as someone tries to aviod drilling the accident scene...but hey as long as there not going to be 2 minutes late getting to the mall.
Very sad.
