You're officially an RC51 badass in my book. That was excellent video. I watched them all. I love how you kept out-powering that rider out of the turn even though he got you on the straight. Very fast track!!! Although I noticed no other technical sections on the track. Keep 'em coming if you got any more.

BTW... for those of you who's link it didn't work, just go to youtube.com and do a search for upnorthdogg and all the videos he's uploaded should come up.

Nice video, I've been on that track before...but not on a bike. I've raced the div 5 race there a few times (s/c , t/d). Hoping the new owners take care of it.

Nice video FROST!! What was the guy that checked out after the first lap riding?? The guy you battled for a couple laps looked like a GSXR 750 but I didn't get a good look at the other bike.

The bike is stock except for the usual mods (exhaust, powercommander, 520 gearing, fork work, ss brake lines, pair etc, ohlins, and let's not forget the EBC HH Kit pads). The guy who checked out was on a ZX6R or RR (whichever is the 636). The one who I went back and forth with was on an '06 R6. The one who passed me towards the end was on an '06 CBR600RR. My tires were hatched from the previous weekends races. Those 600's are damn fast on the straights.

Awesome video man!! I'm curious, what gearing are you running for a fast track like that?

Cool. We have very short tracks here (1.1 miles & 1.5 miles) The 1.5 mile track has a 5/8 mile strait though and when I gear my bike down a bit to where I'm just shy of redline at my braking marker, I just don't seem to get any good speed. It seems that with the low end we have, I run better on higher gearing, even out of the corners. I've experimented with 15/41, 16/42, 15/42,15/40. It seems that even with the 15/40 on the short 1.1 mile track with a pretty short strait, I still hit higher top speed on the strait than I do with the 15/42 like you'd think.

Have you messed around during practice with what gear you were in while in the infield? Alot of people make the mistake at BIR of going in 3rd gear in the infield. I'm in 2nd in just about all of them, but at pretty high rev's. It's kind of a give or take between the long straights and the proper gearing for the corners. Maybe you can find the ideal setup by just about tapping the rev limiter at the end of the straight, and using a lower gear for the infield.

For sure. I did a trackday today at Putnam Park. The front straight allows for 5th gear easily. Any time I made up through the back section, was lost there. 600's were blowing by me like I was towing a boat anchor. Let's not even talk about the liter bikes.

Looks like you make up for the straights in your corner speed! nice video.

You get through the turn 4 to 5 area like a pro Most hit their brakes between those two turns and I have never know why. Just drive out and scrub the speed into 5 like you seem to is the way to make up some time.

I think I saw a former friend of mine on a 600RR in red Joe Rocket leathers in the beginning of the video on your left as you approached your grid position. I am sure he is never a threat to catch you on your RC as he never was able to catch me on mine when he joined us at CCS races last year.

I am not a huge fan of Brainerd, and I have only raced cars there. The track is very fast though, especially one and two. You were way faster through one and two(big balls to get through there quick). It looks like he seemed to get you comming on to the dragstrip that's a pisser, because it allowed him to get a little to far ahead for you to be able to do something about it when you got to one! Very impressive, nice run!

I believe that was #323 Jason Davenport, from Prescott, WI.
