Default Installed Hugger SP2

Well after a long wait, I finally got my hugger installed on my RC SP2. One of friends that is does Powder coating and painting, helped me get my hugger paint to Factory Honda Gloss Black, so it took a while for him to get it back to me. The result is great, it perfectly matches the bike and it looks & fits perfect. He is now going to try other parts to match the paint and make for me. The cost on the hugger with the paint was $100, plus my elbow grease to get it installed. Here is a pic. Let me know what you think.

Yep, got a stock one and then had it painted professionally to match. This hugger is smaller and looks better IMO.

Does the swingarm on the RC51 SP2 need to be drilled to accept the 600RR hugger? Does the 600RR hugger need to be moded to fit the RC51 SP2 swinger?

Nothing has to be done to the hugger besides cosmetic changes on the inside of the hugger 15min max, yes there is one 3/8 hole to be drilled in the centre, and other two holes on the swingarm need to be expanded to 3/8. Drilling was not a issue it went pretty fast.

100 bucks? Man that must have been one expensive ass paint job, considering those huggers are dirt cheap....

yep the huger is only $18 the rest was shipping and his work, overall the outcome was worth it, I ve seen what is out there for the price, plus not much for the SP2, so I think it was worth it.

LOL, serious ownage! That hugger may have doubled the value of his bike in it's present state. Dude needs to give that thing some TLC, ASAP! Would hate to see what's going to happen when that chain lets go and balls up in his countershaft.

PM me your address and I'll send you some chain wax. Could save your life!
