Default A safe way to carry an extra helmet...

http://www.luggagelocker.com/

I found this company from another post looking for a tank / cowl bag that will not scratch the paint of my RC. Les has been very helpful on the phone and email. I emailed him last night to see if he's ever made a product to carry a helmet. Turns out the bag I have on order will do the job!

This is what he wrote (also see the image he sent). GREAT STUFF!

--------------

Nick,

The bag you ordered WILL hold a full faced helmet and the seat. I've attached a pic I just shot for you of the bag on my RC51 fitment jig I keep in my workroom. This is one of the old bags I keep there, but I put a helmet in it and shot the pic for you. The bag has plenty of room to hold a helmet...so...your wishes are already taken care of!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let me know if this answered it.

Thanks again. Call me anytime.

I usually just buckle my helmet with the chin strap going through the grab strip on the passenger seat, then let the helmet sit off to the side.

I haven't seen any noticable scratches from it, but I'm sure if I looked closesly there might be some small ones.
