What benefits exactly do Triple Clams serve?
Couldn't find exactly what I was looking for in the search

A triple clamp is what connects your fork tubes and sterring stem to the frame.

Some are mostly bling. The better/more expensive ones allow you to adjust the rake (angle) of the front forks by using an excentric cam setup. Most are, of course, lighter and stronger.

It's not a KYA triple clamp, it's a intrasic (sp?) clamp. I think it's bad ass and feels so much more stout than the cast POS honda gives us.

Do You Really!??
Hey nj!
That thing looks nice, but do you really thing it's stronger that the stock one?
I don't see how it could be, I would thing it gives alittle movement for better feel to the road or something like that....You know, a type of chassis flex.
Also, how much $ for that bad boy?
Peace
Jeff

02+ has a larger steering stem. They are not interchangable.
FWIW, that is a really good deal on that upper triple and Tech51 is a great seller.

Would it be as simple as boreing out the hole to a larger diameter with a mill?

I paid WAY more than $125 but at the time, Intrasic was not making them for the rc so we had a little group buy.
