Default Repsol Rc-51?

I was just thinking of painting the bike with the repsol blue and orange. Dont exactly know if its been done already or not. What is your guys opinion on that. Also, i would have to get the color codes as well. Anyways, let me know what you think...

I heard that someone has one done up like that in Charlotte! My riding buddy has a Repsol 1000rr, which is absolutely beautiful. I am sure that would look great on an RC as well!

Look around, I am sure someone has done it....you know I used to think the Repsol bikes were cool, especially the NSR's, which were REAL reps from back in the Doohan days, but if Chevron or Exxon sponsored a motoGP bike would you paint yours to match? To each thier own though....do a google search for respol and rc51....I bet apexmoto might have some shots or could do it...

or am I reading this wrong and you just want to use the same colors but a different scheme?

my 2 cents . . .

a stock repsol honda already exists . . . granted, maybe not in RC51 form. i don't know - if i were to go through all the trouble to do something different, i would want to do something different. that said, i'm sure it would look cool. and it's your bike.

best of luck with whatever you decide.

To answer your question ROTHMANS, not just the colors but the whole thing with decals and everything. Since i have been a nicky fan for a while, and since he rode an rc before and is still running honda, well i just thought of combinig the two...but well see. Thanks for the honest answers though guys...

I've never seen it. If you do it, make sure you get the colors right. I had a friend that "tried" to do a Smokin' Joe's replica back in the day, and it came out banana yellow and violet. Ugliest POS ever. He was teased endlessly

IMHO, that's hideous. I'm not much of a "replica" guy and don't understand the point of unnecessary, free advertising but I can appreciate your desire to be different. Hope you get the colors right. Best of luck and be sure to post up some pics!

BEAUGATOR .Thanks for the pics. I do like the rc pics ,only thing is i think the orange is too dark and also i think to really set off this paint scheme, you got to have the orange wheels too. Just my opinion...
