Default Need a favor...

Can someone please take a pic of their SS front brake lines, where they attach to the mastercylinder.

Limey51 asked me to send him one and my camera is giving me grief.

His lines are hitting the back of the headlight assembly, and he needs to see how others have theirs positioned, so they don't hit.

I hate modern technology...............

I am using Goodridge lines. I had to file off the stop on the master cylinder so that I could rotate them back enough to clear the light at full lock.

Default Brake Lines

I have the Galfer superbike lines, i have both lines running to a double banjo bolt on a stock M/C, these are the lines that dont use a banjo bolt on the caliper.

In addition, i am also running Kyle clip-ons

With the bars at full lock the lines hit against the rear of the headlight housing.

Cheers Rigor

Regards

Hey Rigor,

I recently installed my brake lines pictured above. I routed them with the bends in the fittings at the MC that way when turning the bars full-lock left, the lines curve around the intake snorkel behind the headlights. I found if I tried to install the lines with the straight ends at the MC, then there was some interference when turning full-lock left. And the hoses are Goodridge.

Hope that makes sense.

Trent

I also ziptied the two lines together shortly after the m/c and also used some flimsy rubber clamps to secure the lines to my lower triple. There's a pic in this thread BREMBO MC and brake lines

Best of luck!
