Default Slightly bent rim

Well.... I hit a big pot hole last night and it bent my rim slightly. I'm not losing pressure in the tire but the bend on the lip of the rim really concerns me.

I only do street riding/semi agressive canyon riding on the weekends. What would this bend do to the handling of the bike? Should I really be concerned about it? Is this a big deal?

Thanks

You'll want to get it fixed, at higher speeds the bent lip will cause a vibration from the front end. It's an easy and relatively cheap fix. Hitting that solid an object you're going to want to have the rim checked for warping as well. I thought my wheel was ok until I took it off and it was twisted enough to be considered trash.

Personally I would get it fixed just to eliminate any doubt. It's better to be safe than sorry when it comes to our bikes. Someone posted a link to a company that repairs wheels recently but I couldn't find it with the search option. Maybey that person will chime in with the link again.
