Yep, be careful! Watch for cops at border (CA-OR), plenty there. Speed limit is way lower as soon as you step over OR, so slow down, cops need ticketing badly there (income, ya know )

RC51(ST) remember??

Anyhow Ray, I got the darn Stich but man do I wish I have a heated vest ..I regret two things I didn't bring. One was my trusty jacket liner that has always been really ...really warm for any weather that I have incounter before. I left it home because I brought my rain suits . Thinking that it was going to keep me warm. It did..just NOT enough. That the liner would have done. So it was a bit cold on my arms but NOT bad COLD just not comfortable. And the one was I option my more protection from my Spidi Vertabra rather than my water proof boots with hardly any protection. My feet was completely wet before I even got near Mt. Shasta but it was a good ride thru there. Fast sweepers like highway 280. I had to take 5 cause I took off a bit later than I wanted too. So I didn't want to ride the twisties of 101 in the dark.

Anyhow..leaving early tomorrow morning to jump over to 101 home.

Tai

Dat,

You were right on the money...MY money that is ...traffic school here I come..

Oregon also didn't allow lanesplitting...dammm..we have it good. I got near Portland around 9ish and ran into alot of traffic. Cool, I am patient but then the darn RC temp gauge started rising higher and higher..215, 220, 236 was when I just said "F" it..I got to go or be stuck here longer. Came up on a RSV Mille brand new with dealer plate but the rider didn't seem to like the Sato's thumping away behind him. Then I came right up to a guy in a PU with a quad on the back. I had to ask him if lanesplitting was legal. He said NO but I should do it anyways because there was an accident ahead for miles so I might as well keep motoring. I did just that.

Oregon drivers are the Coolest..always moving to the side to allow others to pass

There are 2 people that get Fu$$ed in Oregon....

Speeders and landowners...
I am a landowner and so far have dodged the speeding issue.

The Cops are the biggest A$$es in Oregon, BAR NONE
Depending on the mood 1 mph you may get ticketed.

The entire reason is that the state has no sales tax, so thus land owners and speeders get NUKED...Money has to come from somewhere.
BE SAFE BRO
