Hey Scott,
I don't particularly care what you think of me at this point in time.
I understand you're running a business and have a family and probably a mortgage.
I have the same issues as you.
I told you that as soon as i can confirm where the wheel is, i will return your money.
I know your pissed; and that's probably an understatement, but why have you gone to the extreme point of slandering me and providing my personal details on Speedzilla's Message Board?
Man, that is just wrong.
It probably felt like the right thing to do at the time. I can understand that.
But give me a bit of time. Shit, this has all blown up way out of proportion.
I mean, you looked after me.
You replied to my emails. That's good business sense.
You emailed me the documentation. I appreciate that, and i will give you my word that you will recieve your money back by this weekend.
I think he misses the point... There are laws against that here in this country. You do not make payment for something and then cancel payment when you have been informed that item has been shipped to you.
I'd also be pissed about the deleted post as it pad posts from him admitting that he withdrew his payment until the item shows up. This could be important later if he doesn't make good on his promise to pay.
To the buyer:
It is not slander if it's true. You claimed you hadn't received the item after a reasonable amount of time. It hasn't been a reasonable amount of time considering it's travelling international. You lied to PayPal about that and because of their poor business model, they sided with you. You also broke trust with Scott which is the worst part. You're on this board. You know his reputation. You even stated in your email to him that he looked after you, followed through with emails, and had good business sense. Yet you still made an unreasonable claim against him which resulted in him forfeiting money he shouldn't have had to forfeit. So to state it again, Scott didn't slander you. He posted facts that you acknowledged.
Dave pulled the post because people threatend the guy, I was just trying to warm others about this guy and if you don't know someones name, e-mail, pay pal or e-bay information then you could be next.
If anyone wants this guys information let me know and I will send it to you.
So if he had documentation, (shipping info) then why the cancellation of payment, via an obviously less than true statement to Paypal, to get them to see things his way, and refund the money?

Very poor form Scott.
Are you a business owner, or a thug?
I can cross you off my list of people to do business with.
For this reason alone, I will never do business with Scott, ever.
Why? You plan on screwing him, too?
Is it good practice for Scott to air his problems on this site? Maybe not...
However, Scott didn't air the problem here to get rectification, but to warn everyone here that he got screwed by Paypal again, and that the guy who bought from him was an Ebay user and frequently buys RC51 parts.
That in itself would help if any of us were selling on Ebay and this guy won something, before we accept payment and send it off, and then have our money taken back by Paypal....
Asking a funny question how the hell are we to buy something of scott if there is no eliment of trust at the moment im interested in purchasing somthing of him and have walked right into this whole heap o crap! Im not that well known on spz but can have people to vouch for me.How do i go about things!

How can you say there's no element of trust with Scott???
Did Scott screw the other guy? NO...
Did Scott file a claim with Paypal and get his money back? NO...
Scott shipped the wheel, then, because they guy got tired of waiting to get it, (beyond Scott's control) the guy gets Paypal to yank payment from Scott's account...
How is that a reason to mistrust Scott???? WTF did Scott do???
I'm waiting for my 60* throttle from Scott. He said how long it will take and I'm not worried one bit that he's gonna screw me, or post my information on the web........ probably because I'm not going to call my credit card company 2 hours after Scott said it was supposed to be here.....
Get a grip folks.............
Click on the link in his signature and call him......
With Paypal, if the buyer doesn't file the claim within 30 days (I think), they are out of luck. If this wheel is going to take longer than that to arrive, then there is no protection for the buyer. Maybe he is just covering his ass?
Let's at least give they guy a chance to pay up when the item arrives.
FWIW, I also don't think that Scott has handled this very well. This matter should be between the buyer and the seller only. I do agree with Toxic in that regard.
