That's it. It's called Superbikes riding challenge from Blackbean.

I just ran it and I can say it blows every other physics model away. It's crude and rude in some ways but nothing come close to the feel of hanging off and getting squirrely.
I have the PC version so cant say what ps2 is like but holy cow it's fun using onboard view. Sound seems great, loads well, nice challenge.

No multiplayer which... blows.
Manual rider control, cockpit view and no aids... the best

Had a little trouble finding this game in the US. But... That was because it's labeled as "Suzuki Super-bikes II: Riding Challenge". I found it under Best Buy's website for only $14.99!!! Time to stop by Best Buy.

Well, so far here's a quick personal review for about 2 short days of playing:

- graphics and framerate on this game suck compare to Tourist Trophy/MotoGP4 including no apparent support for higher than normal resolutions (no 480p/1080i)
- physics seem really good though and feels like a game bike should
- This game does however have some of the newer bikes that are not in TT such as the 06 R6 and Triumph 675... But I haven't played long enough to unlock those bikes yet
- Not sure why they call this game "Suzuki Super-bikes" in the US when they include so many more manufacturers... Maybe Suzuki paid an extra fee to slap their name on the box.
- The US version of this game actually does have a replay feature. If I read correctly, Euro version of this game does not.

But in summary, this is a pretty damn good deal for a new game so I really can't complain and will play it some more in the next few months. It's really rare to find a new game for $14.99 (regular price).

Cool thx,
My take,
Cons:
The replay is crap compared to the rich, full featured Superbike 2001 replay system.
The Bikes are all the same, when you pick a bike all A.I. bikes are that bike.
No multiplayer... that sucks. Not even LAN without a stupid split screen.
The cockpits are less detail than SBK2001
The menus are so counter intuitive, it's hard to understand such a poorly laid out jumble of options
No setups!!!
Limited multiple Jstick options, Not able to use my Momo gas/brake pedals
Vision around really sharp corners is cut off(in cockpitmode)
The physics rendering makes other sims like SBK2001, MotoGP, SuzukiTTSB(isle of Man) and Tourist Trophy seem like arcade games.

Pros:
The framerates are fantastic with the ATI X800. PC Version
The tracks look sweet, if you have a bitchin VidCard you're set.
Simply, an amazing physics engine.
Loads fast
Rider lean is now infinite adjust! NOt like the up/down in Tourist Trophy or SBK2001
Sound is pretty good
The more you play it, the more you appreciate it.

Tips: Change bikes for any challenge you are having trouble with. Some AI works better than others on different tracks.
Lose the traction help, brake help and auto rider movement. I advise using brake pairing because brakes
are not good when they're on a button.
Use full screen with the cockpit in front of you, way harder but way more realistic.
I find that often, my knee wants to drop.
It took 19.5 hours over five weeks of gametime, on manual everything, to complete gold in this game.
+ a coupla hours for resets.

I use PS 2 type controller on my PC
Left Jstick up/down = rider lean left/right = steering
Right Jstick up/down = gas UP= Brakes Down(paired)

A decent review:
http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=67640

Overall, the game gets a 8 except for the physics engine which gets: a 10!

I'll have to see if I can find the PC version. I don't think Best Buy has it but maybe EBgames will... If its $14.99 too then it's worth buying.

I will say that the load times on the PS2 version is really slow.

This was mentioned before but are these actually the same developers that created Superbike 2001? In the US, it was published/sold by EASports. I still love the game and if these are the same guys then I definitely have to try the PC version.

YES
The same peeps who made SBK 2001 made this one, they're now called BlackBean.

Here are some of my times in superbike mode, no traction control, no brake help, manual rider lean and paired brakes.

Valencia = 1:40:77
Laguna = 1:31:47
Donnington = 1:36:19
Assen = 2:04:90
Hockenheim = 1:49:19
Not that hard to beat.

I see the guys on the forum are enjoying multiplayer MotoGP.
Riding Challenge is without MP and that really sucks!!!!!
