Anyone going to MotoGP?

Just trying get a heads up for who's going to Laguna Seca in July? Post up, I would like to meet some of the NW members.

Two of us are leaving from Spokane and heading over to Seattle to p/u my "brother" who also rides an MV AGO. I am on an 05 999 and my other buddy in on a CBR600RR. We are trailering down from there. Surely you are not riding that beauty all the way down...are you? We are rolling through OR on Tuesday and getting into the general vicinity (Napa Valley) for a ride on Wed. From there, the rest of the way down for a ride on Thurs (Monteray area), then ride to the track Fri, Sat, Sun. Oh, the glory of it all!! Would love to catch up with you.

trnbrn, I'm leaving on Sunday the 16th and taking my time down. I'm trailering my baby with 2 other guys ('05 zx 6rr, 05'05 gsxr 1k). We can meet you and your buddies somewhere on wed. and we all go for a ride if that's cool with you. Get back to me and let me know what you think.

ddnuts...any idea where you will be on Wednesday? Great riding out of the Napa area. Think we will ride out of Vacaville in the a.m. and ride 128 to St. Helena then hit Skagg Springs Canyon (Called Sears Point North) to the Ocean and then down 1 before looping back.

What do you fellas have in mind? I heard 36 out of Red Bluff to the ocean is the best road/ride in CA. We would rather be closer to Monterey on Wednesday so Napa area it is.

We are driving and are in no real hurry, so whatever is clever. We are down for a ride anywhere, just need a safe place to park the trailer. Have you heard of Hwy 25?

Yes, I have heard of it in fact last year we did Hollister to 25 on the Thursday before the race. Down to King City and then back up to Monterey via Carmel Valley road. Pretty out there and very remote. Some good turns and on my list for a re-do. Highway 25 is good pavement wise but Carmel Valley was poor. Wonder if it has been repaved???
