Unhappy RIP famale ZX6 rider

I drove by this scene on my way home from work and saw the dreaded white sheet laying in the middle of the road. Poor girl's body was still laying there 3 hrs after the accident. Her bike was about 150yds down the road from her body and was completely fukd up. RIP young lady.

Yep it's sad to hear. I've driven that section of I-95 many times and it's a congested nightmare in a car, can't imagine trying to negotiate it on my bike...almost as bad as the Meritt Pkwy or the infamous Hutchinson Pkwy, that is a crazy two lane deathtrap!

Gotta be a sobering moment for you to drive by and see the results, but maybe a positive to remember and learn for future rides.

I gotta say, it fukd me up for quite a while. You actually drove right next to (within 5 ft) the girl's bike as you re-entered I95 and this bike was FUKD! Obviously I didn't know it was a girl under the white sheet, but we're all riders so it didn't matter who it was. The Harley was parked about 100yds past the body on the breakdown lane and I figured they were riding buddies but never imagined what he actually went thru. The "Live @ 5" Thursday concerts in Stamford end around then so hopefully none of that alcohol had anything to do with this tragic event.

I've uncorked my car plenty of times on the stretch from New Rochelle to Stamford but I'll think again after seeing her body like that. Sad in so many ways.
