Finally watched the Laguna race off my Tivo. Good old WCCO put a damn Tornado Warning over the ENTIRE RACE screwing up the HD for WAY NORTH MN! Jesus H Christ - the damn signal doesn't even TRAVEL that far. Talk about a complete waste. I'm close to getting the dish and pipe in european channels.

I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be in HD, so I wasn't too ticked off at the time.

I admit it has been nice catching some F1 races on Fox in HD! I wish Charter would add Speed HD to their lineup...

At least it would have been nice if they would have rebroadcasted it late a night or something. What I wouldn't give to get Speed to do this in HD. I would pay for that...I already watch the HD broadcast off of MotoGP.COM on my bigscreen and mediacenter PC but it's nice for my archives to get it of of broadcast (it's hard to port off of motogp.com).

I think we had the same thing in my area INDY. CBS had the weather alert on which killed the HD stream.

I have direcTV and speed is in HD. That is the main reason I switched from comcrap. I know most is still upconverted, but it looks damn good. The weird thing is when watching AMA races, their are moments that it freezes for a split second on video but audio is fine. Doesn't happen with GP or WSB.

Still loads better than comcrap .
