I haven't been down to Bobs in two years... Suppose to rain easter sunday.. Maybe we should look at a group thing next weekend. I'm taking off April 27 and 28 for my bday and heading south to ride some roads down in Winona. Going to break in my new leathers..
Well this weekend I got stuck with the kids.. Anyways next week I'm taking off Thursday and Friday to go ride.. anyone interested?
I've got to work Thursday, but Friday I should be open. Where ya goin'? Maybe I should take the knobbies off the GS, unless you're taking the duc to water!
I'm open to just about anything.. Why don't everyone interested IM me Cell Phone numbers.. I'm thinking of a Thursday and a Friday ride if its nice. I have a new set of leathers I need to break in so I want to ride in NICE weather.. Hot if it's available. So far we have a three count?
1 Duc
1 GS
1 ?

I already changed the tires. Thursday I can't, Friday looks like rain right now(rain is fine with me). I send you my phone #, and we'll see how it looks later in the week.
I just hate getting the crap out of this tight places.. specially the shock.. Looks like Friday and Saturday and a complete bust so Thursday is the only day we have open. I'm thinking mid/late morning of heading out and ride to like 4ish or so. Anyone else interested?

Wow.. I know that place, I went down in the same area a couple years ago. Glad you are ok and had your brain bucket on.. What kind of bike was it?
State Farm is decent to deal with.. just getting the adjuster out to look at the bike is the hard part..
Will - So you did get the bike? Cool. I'm debating between dumping money into my 999 into exhaust and suspension (6k plus at Ducati prices) or just go buy another bike (R6). Thoughts?

I know where you are talking about, some of those corners always have gravel on them and they are shaded from the sun so it's even harder to see anything on the road. Some spots on that road are bumpy as hell and other parts are smooth as glass, you just have to take your time and get to know the road.
Good luck with the insurance company, most of them will cover up to $1000-1500 in accessories unless you notified them of the extras and the value before the accident, then they may cover all the extras.
Make sure you get covered for the damage to your helmet and other gear. Most of them will happily include those damages in their settlement, since you were wearing them and suffered much less than you would have without them.
