Default Hey Twin Cities people, can ya help me out?

It just occurred to me that someone on this board might be able to help me out. I am new to the area, have been posting on this board for a few weeks now, but my living situation has been temporary. I need to find someplace to live for the next foreseeable bit of time. I figure a message board like this is probably a good place to ask about housing among people who would be sympathetic to my lifestyle (guns, dog, and motorcycle).

What I am looking for: A room, basement, apartment, or some form of shelter to house myself and my dog. I don’t need anything fancy; heats, running water and access to cooking facilities are about all I really need. Beyond those provisions, a covered place to store my motorcycle & the like, a fenced yard, gun friendly CLEO in the area, would all be great bonuses. I am still paying my mortgage in PA, haven’t looked for renters yet, so I am not really looking for luxury accommodations, just something that will meet my shelter needs at the lowest possible cost.

What I can tell you about us: I am quiet, don’t smoke, don’t do drugs, drink responsibly and don’t handle my guns when doing so, don’t listen to loud music (my hearing is just fine), and have been responsible with the home I own in PA & would be responsible with other people’s property as well. My dog is quiet, doesn’t shed much, doesn’t bark unless it really is something that is worth barking at (mailman gets no attention, strange people in gang colors out in the yard at 2am get a lot of attention), she is flawlessly house trained, an indoor dog, gets along well with others whether adults, children, dogs, or cats.

Just occured to me that I copied this post from a local gunboard I am posting on, without editing. I have been posting here alot longer than a few weeks, but could still use the help finding someplace cool to live in the Twin Cities area.

I'll keep my eyes & ears open. I don't know of anything at the moment.

How long are you looking for? Also, are you working in Minneapolis? I live just outside of downtown(about 50 miles) Dogs, and bikes are ok, guns don't really interest me but I'm not anti-gun. I have a semi finished basement, a dog, and a wife(which is probablty the biggest hurdle), but if you just need a place to crash for a while I can probably help you out. Send me an email MNwilly@gmail.com BTW, obviusly bikes are ok. That's all I use my garage for. Sorry I just saw this post, I've been busy for a while. I do have a cousin that lives in Minneapolis also, she might be interested in helping out, but she'll be gone for a week or so.

Default Thanks

Thank you. At church this morning, I was speaking with a couple & I have a couple months that I can stay with the fella. They are engaged, my fiancee an I are engaged, he has a big dog that will get along great with my Dane, it looks like the problem is solved, they even have a bunch of home improvement stuff for me to help them out with. Sounds like we have a bunch in common . . . oh, yeah, he rides too. I think I should be able to get a place for the longer term with a two month window, now that I have a two month window. Thanks guys for looking & offering.
