Default Peroni Beer

Anyone here try the stuff? I just got some today and have to admit the stuff is pretty damn good. Damn Italians. What will they think of next? Winning the World Cup? Sheesh.

So if you haven't tried it and like beers like Stella Artois, give it a shot. It is kind of like a cross between Grolsch, Stella, & Heineken.

I enjoy a nice cool Peroni after a trip to Starbucks.

From the Beer Advocate;
A typical Southern Lager - pale and clear, more a thirst-quencher than a solid thing. Anyway, it's quite nice.

Peroni is a sparkling beer, with accurate modest head and decent lace. Not a great smell but certainly not a bad one - hops & spices mixed with pale malts. Start somewhat fizzy, but quickly turns out as clear and crisp. Taste on the bitter side, body slender, dry. Finish hoppy, small herbal aftertaste with a surprisingly sweet note.

You poor poor Americans.

Peroni, lovely lovely beer, available off the shelf in supermarkets here but especially in any Italian restaurant.

Now if you really want to try a GREAT beer, then it has to be the new Heineken. Just four natural ingredients ..... water, hops, yeast and barley. Quite strong (about 5%) and lovvvvely. Plus because there is no manmade crap in it, the hangovers are not half as bad, infact not one tenth as bad

Stella's?

Dude, Stella is the Pabst Blue Ribbon of Europe... Just because bars here in the US charge a premuim for it, the stuff just isn't good...

There are plenty of fine micro brews in your area or simply buy Portland's Henry Weinhard's Private Reserve - it's sold all over CA.

It's funny how you get used to the watered down piss in the mainstream. I am not a dark beer fan but I suppose I am getting closer.

I don't know why it's funny. I love that stuff!

I also like that new Heineken Lite, or as my friends say, Heineken for Girls.

I just enjoyed a few old classics from Sam Adams, The Brewer Patriot Collection which had the 1790 Root Beer Brew, Traditional Ginger Honey Ale, James Madison Dark Wheat Ale, and last but not least the George Washington Porter! These were old school beers and I liked them all, ofcourse I would like them I did do the Old Chicado 110 beer tour twice and skipped most of the crude American beers!!!!!!!

Peroni is the "piss of Italian beers".

You're better of with a Miller High Life.

Really? If that's the case I will send you all the Miller you want in exchange for the same quantity Peroni.
