That wouldbe impressive. I think the most impressive Backflip to date is Metz's Back to Back with the second one over an 85 foot gap. it was JUST HUGE!

The snowboard halfpipe was cool, especially liked the snowmobile racing, those things jump like dirtbikes

Hell Yeah I used to have an Artic Cat when I lived in Ontario that thing was hella fast, it would lift the skis right up. Gotta give mad props to those guys jumping those huge gaps, somewhere I saw video of guys outrunning avalanches and crossing open water, freakin' nuts

Open water is fun actually. a Sled will cruise across some serious distance. There is a trail up here that crosses a lake thats about a 1/4 mile across. No other way past it (In a canyon) so you either do the open water run or turn around (The best part of the trail is on the other side)

Open water yes, sink, hypothermia? I'd risk it, but outrunning an avalanche thats crazy! buried alive, crushed beyond belife no thanks, I'll try to find a link to this video, it was nutty, I think backwoods B.C. somewhere, crazy Canucks

Does the lake not freeze over?

You guys can keep that skipping crap!
I'm not quite sure how I would explain that one to my insurance agent if I sunk the sled.

Lake freezes in Mid winter but in the spring it thaws. Its really quite easy to do after the first time. Its the first trip across that is Hard. They will run on water just like a SeaDoo
