I rememebr a classic show.

Back in the 70's when Racquel Welch was smokin' hot, she shows up on the Tonight Show with a small cat in her purse or something (..'been a long time)..She's on the stage for about a minute, when Carson notices something moving on her. She says "would you like to see the pussy?" Carson looks at the camera----dead pan---and says: "Sure, move the cat". You could actually almost hear every American male in the United States laugh simultaneously.

She turns red as a beet and storms off stage. it wasn't staged. She comes back a few minutes later, realizing how stupid that remark was.

Keep in mind this is the 70's before 'bitches' and 'ho's' , with tits and ass everywhere. This likely got NBC a big fine.

funny stuff. Carson was funnier than anyone out there today.

During Jays show last night he showed a few clips of Tonight Shows past gawd Johnny was funny.

I'm not much of afan of Nick at night but I bet reruns of the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson would be a hit again!

That was a beautiful tribute Leno gave to Johnny Carson on Monday night.

I feel sorry for people under 30, who just don't know what they've missed. Godspeed, Johnny...

Carnak bits were the best. Loved the insults like "May your daughters first affair be with the United States Marine Corps".

Also teh Floydd R Turbo bit was funny as well.
