Need computer help! Recovering deleted files.

Hello all,

Need a little assistance with my computer, just wondering if anybody has ever tried to recover deleted files before...

My buddy (so-called computer expert) was cleaning out one of my hard drives of what he thought was just usless files. Just noticed he must have accidentaly deleted my movie & video folder. I lost about 25GB of bikes, cars & PORN!

Anybody ever successfully retrieve files? What program did you use?
