i have 2 systems a really nice muzzy stainless steel system and a old and not so pretty MICRON system, the micron has huge header tubes and the muzzy headers are pretty much like the stock diameter, My question is does it make a real difference? Iam running a 697cc and ported heads with stock valves..any opinions
from what i'v read equal length headers and collector are important to hp and torque. I would say just because one header is a bigger diameter then the other. The bigger diameter headers will only help if the exhaust port can match. Not sure what your exhaust port size is but if its no bigger diameter then your smaller set of headers i believe you gain nothing from the headers aspect beside having equal length tubing.
