Honda 5 Spoke rim for VTRs

Does anyone know if the RC51 or other Honda model 5 spoke rims will fit on a VTR with out major mods?

or was that the cbr 600 f3? check them out both will fit just not sure if f4 is 5 spoke or not.

I mounted a CBR900RR rear wheel and a CBR600F3 front wheel on mine. It totally changes the look. Both wheels are direct fit. I didn't need to make any modifications

hey you are right! i remember trying some wheels i had laying around and the 600 rear wheel was to narrow at the axle area. go for the 900rr wheel in the back,600 wheel bolts up in front.

I believe that early 900RRs had a 16" front, not the 600s.

The 900RR wheel was a 93 and the F3 front i think was a 97.

By the way, both are 17' wheels. I got the F3 front to convert my 900RR front to 17" But the 900/600 wheels look way too cool on the VTR. Plus my VTR wheels fit my 900RR and look better on that!
