competition werkes fender eliminator kits (VTR1000F)

Do you take the current tag/light plastic assembly off the bike to cut it down to use the parts from the kit. Or, do you cut it in place on the bike? At least to me, the photocopied page of instructions leaves alot to be desired...thanks

Problem solved. It's done. The directions aren't great and the finished product isn't worth the money...........

its a joke. I put mine in and then after looking at the crap i went out and bought an undertail. The directions suck and it really doesnt fit the bike that well.
