Mirror Mirror on the wall...

So I just picked up my 2000 Super Chicken yesterday...I LOVE IT! Gobs and gobs of tourque! Awesom bike to ride around. Twist and go no matter if you're in the right gear or not

Any how. Previous owner stuck on bar end mirrors and didn't have the originals. The bar ends blow. I can't use them at all. Plus one of them vibrated itself off on a ride last night

I've heard that R1 mirrors will bolt directly up to the original mounting point on the Super Hawk. Is this true? Any other ideas for mirror options?

Yes, seem that R1 and R6 mirror fit on the Hawk, but not with any modifications... and FZ1 seem to be the best solution to solve the "elbow" problem! There some good post on this there:
