Does anyone recomend any other than the stock sparkplugs for stock carb/airbox/cleaner '98 VTR?

I realize that Iam responding to my own post but so what Im lonley.
I bought plugs yesterday at the local auto parts guy. When I went there on Mon. he said they didn't carry the plug Dpr9evx9. I said that the Honda shop was asking like 10.00 something for'em and I wanted to see if my usual parts store could do better. He called the warehouse found that they have replaced that plug with a new plug the Dpr9evxi9 I for Iridium. This plug has an Iridium cap on the electrode that is good for the spark and good for the coil. He only charged me 8.00 something for'em.

I would put NGK's in it, not that I know what damn part# it is. I'm curious as to what gap to use.

This is the NEW NGK plug that replaces the original OEM plug. The gap should be 0.8-o.9mm

The Iridium plugs work very well. I haven't put them in my SH, but I have put them in my 900RR track bike. I like them alot.

Thanks Im gonna put'em in this weekend. I adjusted the suspension acording to Sport Rider's test and was very happy with the results and changed the oil&filter. This bike is so much fun to ride. It will give my Norton a badly need rest and allow me to do a few of the mods. on it I have been putting off so I could ride it.
Thanks for the reply
Steve
