tps adjustment

i would like to check the adjustment on my tps.....has anyone done this before?

i checked the service manual and see the pins i need to check across and the ohms i am looking for but i am curious about the break away screws.

if it falls out of spec, how do you loosen it to adjust it?

any help would be appreciated...

When I adjusted mine I just carefully used a dremel tool and slotted the screws. Then they came out easily with a flatblade screwdriver. You can reinstall with some nonpermanent locktite. Most people think they notice a more linear throttle. There used to be a DIY on the web with nice pictures. If I can find it I'll post it. Good luck.
