Default Help!

Hey all - picked up a '98 VTR1000 today; the seller dumped the bike off the loading ramp (after the $ changed hands) and shredded the left cowl and punctured the left rad. Among other annoying injuries. I have no legal recourse, I don't think, as I allowed him to try to load the bike. So . . . . anyone know of a source for a (cheap) reasonable left rad - and maybe even left cowl (fairing)?? Or a good fix for split plastic? Any advice at all appreciated - looking for reasonable repair options as I rarely keep machinery for more than a year or so.

That truly sucks RJP.

I rebuilt a Superhawk several years ago and was able to find most parts on eBay.

The seller didn't offer any of the fresh cash that he had in his pocket? Low class!

I will offer these two things.
1. You should have demanded the funds back or at least worked out a trade for the damages the seller caused. Think about it this way, You had not taken receiption of the bike and it was no longer in the condition you purchased it.

It doesn't matter what state you are in, When in an accident (any kind of accident) TAKE PICTUES. It's your only way to prove your story other than a witness.

2. I have a left rad for a RC51 sp2 that you could get to fit. Pm me if you're interested.
