Default anybody using their VTR as track bike?...

Just curious if anyone is using or has used their VTR as a track bike. If so, how did you like it? What improvements/mods did you make or recommend to make it a better track bike?

thanks,

Bryan

For racing or just to do track days? I use mine as a street/track bike and I'm thinking of doing some racing with it because I can't afford a track only bike right now. I have GSXR1000 forks and calipers with a modified RC51 wheel, Bitubo rear shock, full exhaust with the low mount pipes and highmout hangers. I also have frame sliders and ss brake lines. I have too many mods too list or remember actually. If you do a search on superhawkforum.com there're a few good threads there about this subject. Depending on what you're looking to do with it it is a cable bike and lots of fun to ride but it won't compete on the straights with the big boys. I think it's more fun to pass them in the corners anyway! The second picture was before the track mods so you can have fun the way it comes but with the mods it's easier to go fast
