520 Chain and Sprocket Conversion
I ran across an ad on Ebay from Sumofallparts.net for a 520 chain conversion, including a sprocket change. They say stock sprockets are 16/41 with a final drive of 2.56. Their kit with sprockets of 15/43 and a final drive of 2.87, is claimed to be a cure for factory gearing's that too tall, better acceleration, and a fix for the factory speedo that is 8 to 10% high; making the speedo error only 2% high.
Anybody ever test their speedo to know just how much err it has?
Would this 520 chain and sprocket kit accomplish any or all of it's claims?
