Default Boom! 2nd RC for the street

I ended up having a blast doing track days on the RC51 this year, but ended up wishing I could ride it in between on the street as well. My SV650 was a fine street bike, but it wasn't an RC, so here I am. Sold the SV and picked up another 2002 SP2. It's a little rough around the edges, so I'm going to be cleaning things up and trying to make it as similar to the track bike as possible.

Damn? Why do people destroy their bikes like that? All black? Hope you smooth out all those rough edges and make her presentable again.

There's plenty of guys here with a couple RCs, it's fun to join them. Even though the stock red/silver paint job is just about my favorite ever, I don't mind the black and I doubt changing it will be very high on the list of mods. First things to swap out are the rashed up hand/foot controls and find a matching clear cover for the right turn signal. Performance wise I'm going to do very little, other than probably swapping the shortened 2-Bros exhaust for something else.
