Default My first track day

Here's my first track day in Mid Ohio,July 10. I know I don't lean the bike that much, and I also don't hang off that much. But I have a great fun, and looking forward for my next track day in few weeks. Please do comment about anything, I will put my flame suit on..!

Your first track day should be all about fun. You wouldn't be expected to break any track records. Worst thing you could do would be to try too hard to lean, or hang off, and end up wrecking your bike. Glad you had a good time!

BTW, find some race plastics before your next track day. Those fairings are far too nice to have out there!

Ahh, Ann Arbor...Land of the Left winger! LOL Looks like a blast...the only thing keeping me from a track day is the grand+ in leathers and boots I cant afford right now! LOL Are you doing Grattan or Gingerman next?? Gingerman looks sweet, and grattan looks tough!!! if you ever come east to ride drop a line. I'm in Westland.

What did you do to tape your head lights.

I cant decide what I want to do for next year. Get race plastics, rashed plastics, or just get a bike for the track. The later would be the most expensive (and I already know my wifes answer) but I am not sure if I want to be swapping stuff on and off all the time.

Nice shots. Like everbody said, those plastics are too nice. Someone on the BARF board is selling some track bodywork.

Thanks guys. I have to work more on body form, braking etc..it's a long way to go.
Since the classes have started, I don't have time to go track anymore. I'll buy track bodywork soon. Thanks rcebrnr for the link.
