of course billeted calipers feel much better
the piston surface area for billeted calipers is much smoother(and non porous compared to cast
thats the main difference between the 2 manufacturing methods

nice set up by the way!

So,... I guess I'm the only one here that does Not like the look of these ej...?
To "Me" they look way out of proportion... as in HUGE! Again... different strokes for different folks.... and ofcourse,... the most important thing(s) is, even IF you were the ONLY 1 that did like them... it's your RC so TSFEE... that and how they work,.. is all of what's important right......

IF they're really so much better then OEM's, which are already great brakes and then,.. when you throw in the "usual tweaks"...
#1 Brembo MC,
#2 Steel braided brake lines and
#3 HRC brake pads.... If they are really so much better,.. then this 3 stage set-up....> then it's all worth it,... I guess.

However, I have this three stage set-up as mentioned above.... and I've got to tell you.... "For the Street" they are WAY More then I'll ever need! LOL

Peace

PS.. You know,.. it would be cool to hear\read some feed back as to the guys that race\track days... that have done the mentioned 3 stage set-up and then, have gone to set-ups similar to these!...?

Thumbs up

Nice set-up wibbly. I'm planning on doing the same thing with my other RC. Need to know what rotors you're using. As to stock replacement or something different. Heard/read that using the radial calipers with the Ohlin forks (as you have), you couldn't use the stock rotors because of the different off-set needed to keep everything aligned. True or not?

How's the gimp doing? LOL Maybe you can pass him off to some other person.

this is a marchi mag rc front wheel with ohlins rc forks with 1000rr caliper brackets and brembo hp calipers with 5mm spacers... everything bolts up just fine but it took a small shim in the spacers to get everything to line up just right. the rotors are galfers made for the 51.
