Default RCW Build Thread *lots of pics*

Ok, so some members have been asking how did the RCW became about. Well, here is how.

Got the bike stock and Loved it at the track (I actually got the bike for street duty but with a full second faster stock then my Modified CBR, Hell, why not)

so improvements could be done to the equipment to make it even better.

First things first, make it lighter; Stock trim was removed and raceglass followed.
Harness was trimmed and the conventional OEM coil system was removed and replaced with new stile in coil wires (you’re welcome guys)

Took the bike to Florida in January (I’m in NYC) to test and got even better and more comfortable on it.

Wrapped the headers and cut the TwoBros slip on to 12 inches each.

When I got back to NYC it was time to make it even lighter so removed the rear section of the subframe.

Relocated the battery with a custom made battery box and replaced it with a smaller and lighter battery.

Added a set of the Carrozzeria wheels, rotors. A custom relocator was made to fit my bike (I mean, come on, I am a distributor of Carrozzeria)

Front brakes got upgraded with some radial mounted Brembo calipers as well as custom made superbike lines and a Master cylinder. The clutch lever was replaced for a much shorter and more comfortable (for me it is)

Once back and doing the routine after trackday maintenance I saw a crashed CBR600RR tail on my bench and got busy with it…(I wonder if I can fit this here)

Sweet, it looks like it does, but now what do I do for undertail?
Easy, aluminum sheet, mold cardboard and cut to fit, have yourself an aluminum undertail to mount electronics on to.

So now that I know it fits, I ordered the race tail.

Tested the equipment once more and it worked great but some adjustments to the bolt points were required

Since new mounting points were created I had to remove the old once and while I was learning how to work with fiberglass I decided to cover the OEM mounts that came on the race tail

At the same time, Carrozzeria released a new lighter wheel set for race trim only. Once they were done taking pictures of the first set of wheels, they were shipped to me so I got to fit those too.
