i did use the standard front brake set up before the brembos, problem in the comparo is that i had the rubber lines on the standard lines with stock masters and when i did the brembo calipers also did the lines and mastercylinder too so the feel on lever is way more sensitive then standard feel.

but even with the stock set up, i never had an "oh shit" moment where the brakes gave out of fade out.

I just laid my RC down this past weekend and I must say this has given me a lot of ideas...

I need to replace most of the plastics, and so have decided to go with a cbr front and tail. I like the idea of having the sides open to show off those glorious rads.

One question: My tank is pretty well screwed, and so I have to replace it. Are there any other tanks that can be made to replace it, or is my only option to stick with the RC tank?

damn, sorry to hear that.

they are lots of ideas out there but if you're going to way i went by adding the airbox removal then you'll need the stock tank to seal it.

it will also cost you way less.

BTW, i have a tank for sale right now.

Amazing work!

I really like how it turned out. Congrats on making such a unique bike with very nice upgrades I might add.

I don't care much for the headlight stickers but I like the attention the detail on the brackets and bodywork fitment.

Great bike man. I love that people are still messing with the RC. I find it faster on the track for me then my GSXR. Thats why I sold the GSXR and now going to concentrate on the RC. Congrats again SICK work.

metalscorpio, i really like what you have done with the bike, any report on how the rads are holding up? any leaks? how are the cooling capabilities? do you strictly use it for the track?

Just so you're not waiting in vain, he parted the bike out a little while ago and hasn't been on here in a while.

I thought maybe an underseat like the 1198 would finish off the look. The way the tailsection minimizes the rear and seems to leave it wanting? Wide and flat like the GSXR with the underseat might be the answer. But before you howl at the moon let me say I hate the GSXR tail I was just using it as an example.
