I've been seduced by the Dark Side!
Take it for what its worth.
Bought it from a guy down on his luck. 627 miles on it. Its a lot of fun, if you're into this kind of thing, but I could never have one as my only bike.
Fear not, for I still have the big Gixx as spotted in the background.
Cheers

Not trying to fool anyone. If my ultimate plan works out, I'll have ANOTHER fiddyone in the garage within the next year!
Why do you peeps think I still hang out here?

Nice bike man, if you can find a computer with the pipes and a heavy breather or similar kit , you would be suprised what the little 1200 will do!! Let the modding begin!

No, I'm not going down that road with this bike. Let's face it, if I want to go fast, I already have a 167hp weapon waiting in the background! The Nightster is more about trolling the backroads, and commuting to Grad school and back, plus the afternoon 'scoots' on my days off. The bike already has the V&H shortshots, S/E intake and fuelpack re-flash, so it goes pretty good for what it is. It sounds almost as good as my last RC-51, and with mods come decreased reliability, and with any H-D, I'm not sure ANY decrease in reliability is something to shoot for.
I'll be content to enjoy it just like it is.

Not just a Sportster...a Nightster. Way better looking than a regular sportster IMO.
I test rode one at a dealership, bike had great bottom end torque and ran well, but rode very rough, maybe a few suspension changes would of helped it.
Congrats, bike looks nice and should make for a nice cruiser.
