Looks real good CJ! I'd give the painter a case of Imported Beer for a tip on that job! Nicely done....

I have an 04 also, and was thinking the same thing, i have Sato's, but regret takint eh Jardinw sticker off. Its part of the LE package, that cost an extra grand.(go figure) I have a spare sticker kit, , from warranty, (the tech that put em on during prep, was drunk or something, crooked and bubbled.) So I might just pull em off. Dunn, still looks nice. Satos, appeal to my ears the most,

v-2 superbike, where did you get that bump pad at? is that a Rogue piece? it looks a little different than the ones i saw in the pics pages there (i'm not a member and i don't think they update the homepage links any more). nice "warhorse". much nicer than mine... except for the fact that mine has 6 more cylinders, 2 more wheels, a turbocharger, and a machine gun on the roof . course, it's also 14,000 lbs empty, but the bonus there is that it's (according to uncle sam) "projectile resistant" .

turnone (brett, right?), is that a radial rear caliper on your bike? that looks kinda nifty, man.

Thanks for your service to our country! No doubt your work horse is a lot more impressive than mine. 50 caliber macine gun?

The bump pad is self fabricated and has worked out well.
I took some foam from a PT office (at the time I was undergoing shoulder
treatment) took an old black t-shirt stapled it and then used a strong
adhesive velcro to attach to the bike.......... that's it. Cost was approximately
$15-20. Allows me to launch the bike and not slide back as well as stretch my back when needed.
Hope that helps.

v-2,

nah... 7.62mm ( .308 cal for you hunters) up there. doesn't have quite the knock-down power, but it doesn't weigh near as much either and throws a LOT more lead downrange a LOT faster... with is quite nice for getting "off the X" in rickey-tick fashion so we can Charlie Mike. i actually wish we did have a "ma deuce" (the term of endearment for the Browning M-2 .50 cal gun) on the roof. it's a LOT more intimidating than ours... but again, ours is man-packable if necessary. ma's just a big fat pig, but that's part of why we love her... kinda like the fiddy-uno, eh?

no thanks really needed... hel, i should thank you folks for paying my salary, my mortgage, all the HFZ bonus money, and for indirectly introducing me to my fiancee... she's in my company, and were it not for all the benefits we got joining, we'd have not met 5 years ago. crazy thing is, we actually started dating after we got home from bosnia in '02. even crazier, she's still in, and about 40 miles down the road from me now.

thanks for the tips on the bump-pad... might have to look into something like that.
