Also like your undertail, whar brand is it, and are you happy with it?
Are the flushmounts hard to keep clean? Seems like they'd catch bugs/flies in the crannies.
I think I read from one of your posts that you got the last 2 bros full system, is that correct? Do you think that a full exhaust makes big enough gains/over cans alone, to warrant the cost of the whole shebang?

A)
FZ1 extended stem Mirrors off ebay. Gotta drill & pin them at the pivots to work on the S'hawk.
Work great...panoramic rear view now w/o having to move my arm out of the way like the stock mirrors. Same size/position on the mounting holes.
Some guys use R1 or R6 mirrors too. Same deal with the pin mod to get correct stem position so you can adjust mirrors to see properly in back of you.
Some guys use the VTR mirror base & bolt the FZ1 stem/mirror to the VTR base for a better fit to the fairing.

It's a Mototeck undertail.....Love it!
The LED signals on it do NOT show well in the daylight. I added an LED taillight with intergrated turn signals to help be seen

I saw it here 1st:

I bought it from these guys:

I've seen one on ebay for like $189 (but it was red)
The instructions are poor so I had to cut some & try the fit, then cut some more. I actually used a solder gun with a tip I flatened out to modify the stock black plastic inner fender. It melted thru the plastic and didn't make any of plastic dust to clean up. The sides I trimed with tin snips. way easier than a hack saw blade!
The instructions they sent were for a diffrent Honda motorcycle. Then didn't have any for the VTR1000!
C)
Haven't had them long enought to find out about bugs & cleaning.

That's what TBR said...was their last system.
Stock header pipes would be fine with aftermarket cans for a stock engine that's been rejetted.
Hi-compression pistons, cams, & ported heads would use the headers (maybe someday I'll hot-rod it)
SO unless you plan head work don't bother with headers. Stock is just fine.
Some people remove the restriction on the stock pipe. Check it out here:

Some say it is there intentionally...Honda did it that way..something to do with the exhaust pulse evacuating gasses better at low RPM or something.
Read that on the VTR_List yahoo group (a british firestorm riders group)
