Default Reason?

What is the benefit of using a race harness. I am guessing it would be removing the unecessary wiring that is street related. Such as wiring for headlights and blinkers. ??? The bike I am working on is going to be track only for the rest of it's days. Would this mod help clean up some of the extra wiring that I am caring around.

I was just wondering since I saw this posting. Thanks

I looked for the pic. the guy had dropped (if i remember correctly ) 2.6 lbs.

This also involved relocating all electronics and a lot of work.

How about a source to get the OEM connectors. I would make my own if I could get the connectors.

2 things:

I have used Delphi (style) connectors for situations like this on bikes and cars and have always been very happy with the result. I think they wobble less than the plastic ones IMHO.

Second, if anyone needs harnesses (stock, that is), PM me, I have a ton of them (10+) in varying degrees of condition. Some absolutely cherry, others perfectly good and usable for a race harness. All from running bikes.

Thanks!
