FS: 2004 Nicky Hayden RC51 in Cali
I accidentally dented my tank months ago and I have been feeling like poo poo this whole time because I’m not able to find an 04 tank for sale. Everyday when I come home I seriously feel like sh*t seeing the dent, although it’s very minor..but I guess I’m anal and I just can't help it. Just a month ago, my twin baby girls arrived and I think it’s maybe the right thing for me to finally sell it (although I’m still unsure). Damn, I can’t really make up my mind..she’s such a beauty. Anyway, I want her to go to a good home. Check out below descriptions for this very special 2004 Nicky Hayden Edition SP2.
Absolutely pampered 5800 miles. It was tipped over during transportation so there is a dent on left side of the tank, other wise it is in excellent condition and never down and never seen track. Considered that it has a dent due to my mishap, I've lowered the price to compensate it. As RC51 fanatics I’m sure everyone knows how thoughtfully and beautifully this bike is put together. I wouldn’t prefer you to do this, but you can actually part out the bike for higher than what you will purchase it for.
Here's a list of mods with $ spent on each item (Prices are not inflated, they are the actual costs):
Marchesini magnesium wheels (front wheel painted white to match the white upper fairing) - $2,500
Moriwaki link - $350
Marzocchi Italian super bike forks with radial brake set up - $2,485
Custom top and lower triple (check out the pics, very beefy!) - $1,340
Clip ons - $360
(again, prices are not inflated and I encourage potential buyers to verify the prices with Marzocchi)
Radial brakes - $530
Scotts damper - $400
Brembo brake master cylinder - $270
Brembo billet clutch master cylinder - $320
Moriwaki carbon front fender - $230
Magical racing carbon huggar - $280
PCIIIr with Dan Kyle tuned Sato Map - $300
Sato titanium banzai mount - $1350
Dan Kyle Passenger peg adaptor - $130
Dussault undertail with custom bigger and brighter LED clusters - $400
520 chain
Galfer braided lines - $60
Flapper mod
Pit bull rear stand – $250
Brand new Yuasa battery (purchased June 09) - $120
I will also include the ORIGINAL factory 2004 RC51 Sponsor stickers! (Never put on bike)
$8,000
I don’t check the speedzilla forum too often so for prompt reply please email me at isp8866@yahoo.com

Since you don't state a price, it must be free. Tell ya' what, I'll pay the shipping to Texas.

"Marzocchi Italian super bike forks with radial brake set up - $2,485"
That is one mod I have NEVER seen before!
Whats the diameter of those forks and what kind of clip-ons did you find to fit them?

The front set up was all done by Marzocchi. The forks are 50mm and the clip-ons are made by Andreani in Italy.

How do they perform compared to the stock forks?

How about some close up pics of the tank dent any other areas that are blemished?
That's seems to be a nice bike and I'm feeling urge to pick it up.
Thanks

Here are a couple pictures of the dent for now. I know how heated this forum can be . Just to show that it's simply a dent from transportation and not from a crash, I will take some pictures later to show there isn't any rash on fairings and such.
Come get it bluestreak!! The sooner you take it the the sooner the wife will stop nagging lol.

Bump for a well set up bike
That would have to be the most unique front set up for a RC that I have seen...
Good luck with the sale, and congrats on your new twins.
