Rebel Rear Shocks

OK you guys, Don't laugh but i'm looking for a set of rear shocks for my( little friend) a 2002-Honda rebel,just wondering if by chance you may have a set taking up space,it's my wifes bike.

Cut two lengths of steel tube, mash the ends, drill holes, and make that sucker a hard tail. Turn it into something that deserves a milligram of respect.

What? Like it would make it handle bad or something?

Bro, best that u search in Thailand...they have alot aftermarket cheap twin shock...cost less then $100.

I've been thinking about this for a while. How does one come to the realization that the shocks on his Rebel 250 need to be replaced? Are they physically broken? Stolen by miscreants?

I can't imagine anyone saying "the shocks on my Rebel have lost their good damping characteristics.."
