Default Thorsten/ T-1 fiberglass airbox for SP1 (used)

Up for grabs to the best offer is a SP1 (only) airbox in used condition. This box was purchased as part of a large combination purchase from another member completing one of the best builds on this site (eye-p's RC). the member has since move onto the Ducatis and I snatched up all the parts I could. This item is considered a spare as it was an earlier model fiberglass model as most now seem to be produced in CF. SAVE money in buying Fiber glass and repair with duct tape instead of sending the unit off to a sponsor member for repairs in case of an accident!

This airbox is identical in shape to anything else you will find out there right now from the airboxes that butt up against the bottom of the tank in making the seal. I will also throw in an extra front seal unit that MGRN made for me about a year ago (and never mounted).

Note about this unit!
This was one of the first models from Thorsten from what I can tell and for all that do not know his work, it is weak wher it can be and strong where it has to be. The purpose of course is weight savings and (in this case) maximizing air volume. The outside has a thin primer(white) and black top coat. There is a crack in the fiber glass by the rear cylinder intake port from repeated install and removal. This does not need to be repaired as the unit will still hold the air pressure with no problem when mounted to the throttle bodies.

Make offer!
Kurt
