Brand new Tyga Performance Carbon Fiber Front Fenders for the RC51 / VTR1000 SP!

Hey everyone, I have recently become the official importer and distributor for Tyga in the United States! Along with many of their other items for most modern sportbikes we are going to have a line of stuff just for the RC51 and there will be a number of new products forthcoming.

For now, we have a new carbon fender for all years of the RC51!

This fender is an exact copy of the OEM Honda one, complete with the two "dishes" in the rear part of it along with provisions to secure your brake lines if wanted.

The fender has the same look and feel as OEM, but ofcourse much lighter than stock. I found many of the lips on aftermarket carbon fiber fenders were very thin and susceptible to damage, the Tyga fender has the same rounded fat lip as the OEM fender which looks great and will be very stout.

The mounting points on the Tyga fender are also improved over the original Honda version, they are *very* robust which should eliminate many of the cracked mounting points that plagues so many of the OEM Honda fenders.

The quality of the carbon work and the fit and finish is first rate, the "TYGA" sticker on the front may be simply peeled away if you wish.

A few more details I neglected to mention in the first post.

Weight: my scale does not do grams, and it may not be all that accurate, but I can say that it weighs roughly 8 ounces, about identical to a QB carbon fender I had and well over half the weight of a stock fender! Also, as I mentioned we sacrificed a little extra weight for the improved mounting areas and the more rounded lip that will provide more durability and longevity!

The carbon cloth is a 3K plain weave and the part is made in the wet lay up method to keep costs reasonable. Everything is sanded and then UV clear coated, and then more sanding and polishing.

I really think you will be pleased with the quality, the parts are really beautiful and well made.

Really? I thought it was Pretty Damn Good!,.. IF you check other carbon fiber work like this... the Price is even MORE,... then the Price Glen is giving US here at SpeedZilla a Break from!.. So when you consider the price we can score these bad boys for... It's pretty damn resonable... Unless, You've got another source for something I haven't seen yet..?

+1 on this as well, ive bought alot of stuff for the RC over the years, like most of the oldschool members here. And all i have to say that Glenn has been the best to do business with hands down . Free bump for these great looking fenders at an amazing price

I'm also often shocked when i see the prices for smaller carbon bits like this fender, but as one who works with fiber glass as a living, i know that unless you buy alot of carbon fiber rolls, and i mean alot, it gets pretty pricy for the fiber alone, add the resin, add the payment for the craftsman who makes it , and finally add the price the company needs to earn on it, and you'll see that it really isn't THAT expenssive when added together.

I could make my own fairings and fenders at work, but honestly the hours you need to put into it, its not worth my time , compared to what i can buy it for.
