Assuming that they sold their originals, one would use for a track that has noise restrictions, track spares, or going back to stock for resale purposes.

we have an awesome new track opening soon near Ottawa that will have 95 dbA noise limits for all bikes. I know my Hindles won't pass that so I'm keeping my stockers. I think alot of tracks are running into noise complaints and are going with 90-95 dbA sound levels.
