As much at it pains me to sell her it's time for me to part ways with my RC for something new. I had the chance to ride a new 06 literbike and fell in love with it. This bike has a lot of the most desireable parts on it. Here's a comprehensive list of what comes on the bike:

The pics are in my original post. The only thing different are that the bike had gold Sato rearsets and the 02+ swingarm conversion. If you need additional pics I can take some tonight or tomorrow and email them to you.

A 2006 R1 LE... It was between a 2006 R1 or a 2006 100rr. I had a chance to ride a 06 R1 this past weekend and it's so much better than my buddies 06 1000rr.

Mike, have you thought about waiting for the 07? Its supposedly going to be all new like the R6 redo.

I've been in close contact with my local Yamaha rep (very good friend of mine) on what the revamp is going to be. He won't know till Sept 15th and once he tells me I'll make my decision on the 06 or 07. The plan is to this RC and put some money away for the R1. I hate to leave honda but the 1000rr just didn't do it for me.

hope they do a better job with the R1, that with the R6... as my 06 GSXR600 murders the 06 R6 all over the place...

I'm not a fan of 600's so I couldn't care less... The R1 has awesome lines and more power than I will ever need.
