Default Mint 04' gsxr750 for 02' up RC

I have a mint 04' 750 that I've just invested over 5k in mods. The bike has never been tracked except once for a trackday. It's never been wrecked, raced, dropped or abused in any way. 4800 miles w/a clear title. The bike is in pristine condition. I'm looking for an rc that has had the proper mods allready installed and not to mention should be in the same shape as the 750. I've owned three rc's so i know exactly what i'm looking for.

750 mods:
new internals in the forks (valves, springs and emulators)
penske double
tiforce full ti system w/high exit
pc3( a map has been made for the bike and dyno tuned as well)
spiegler lines
scotts damper
woodcraft case cove w/skid pads
woodcraft clip ons
vortex adjustable rear sets
new set of shark skinz(still in the box and pre-drilled)
yosh fairing stay(not installed)
520 conv w/vortex
ALL MODS ARE NEW...
the bike is still in street form and spotless. looking for reasonable offers or a trade on a rc that would be equal in value. email for pics..

I think you missed the point. Value is in the eye of the beholder. IE I think my bikes are worth more than than an 04 Gixxer. The point I was trying to make is you might be better off trying to sell it then buy a 02 up RC. My experience includes 2 years at one of the largest Honda Dealers in the US and my friends own the Honda/Yamaha dearlership here in my town (work there once in a while to keep my discount alive). I'm just giving you a little friendly advice when I say you might have better luck selling the bike and buying an RC.

Comparing mint-condition 2004 GSXR750 to mint-condition 2004 RC51 in the
N.A.D.A. Motorcycle pricing guide:
GSXR750 Average Retail $7060
RC51 Average Retail $9050
...Yeah, those RC51's fall off like a hardball off the dining room table.

I think the important thing to look at is: you should try to dump the GSXR on a GSXR board. I can't imagine anyone on the RC board who'd want to get rid of the reason they're here. Not sure about the values of each. Doesn't really matter. Value is all relative.

The words of someone who know's very little about the motorcycle industry. I've been selling bikes for 15 years and Honda's for 10. The last 4 or 5 rc's that we have had I gave away. The only reason I'm looking for another is that I raced heavyweight twins for a couple of years and would like to replace the last rc race bike that I just sold. I'm by far knocking an rc seeing that I've built and raced three of them. As far as the market value goes I can sell 15 gsxr's to 1 rc51. Thanks for the opinion though..

It's not too hard to imagine that the market may be very different in Kentucky,
but facts are facts and opinions are opinions. The figures I quoted are the averages of all the transactions reported by licensed motorcycle dealers to the N.A.D.A. in the third quarter of the current year. RC51's don't hang around at dealerships here. As far as experience in the motorcycle industry, I started my career in motorcyle sales in 1975. Calm down.

Gixxers/CBR's/ZX's/R's are throw away bikes. You buy'em, beat the crap out of'em and "try" and sell them for what you still owe.

RC51's and other cult bikes will never get thrown away. They will be highly desirable long after they've been discontinued, and, are much more rare. Therefore, they will always have relatively high resale value. I don't know about Kentucky but in SoCal you can't find a used RC51, let alone get one for cheap. Gixxer 750's, dime a dozen around here and most of them are all squidded out, which makes them worthless. You look at the cycle trader here and you will see 1-2 RC's a month. You'll see literally hundreds of the rest.

I don't sell bikes so i may be totally full of shit, but this is what i've seen around here and this is the street-bike capitol of the world baby!!!!

Late.

First thing, what color? Second, if you sell it, how much are you asking for? Reason for asking I have an old co-worker in Ashburn VA that is looking for a GSXR 750.

X2 on the price. I have a co-worker who rides an '05 600gsxr, but has been thinking of 'upgrading' to a 750 and letting his wife ride the 600. I let hime try my RC, but he just got scared and messed his pants.

I just aquired a repossesed 2002 with 54 miles on it well now it has 1059, I HAD TO HAVE SOME FUN, couldn't let a bike like that sit. It has SATO BANZAI's, PCIIIr, 520 conversion 15/42 gears, Dussault undertail. All of this stuff is brand new and just put on. I will trade you my bike plus you give me $5,000. Gosh I love this bike.
