Default FOR SALE: 2004 Honda RC 51 ONLY 590 Miles LOWER PRICE

FOR SALE: 2004 Honda RC 51 RVT 1000 - Only 590 Miles
Hi all, I bought this in March for my fiancee.. .who recently had his license suspended. Because of this there was just no need to keep making payments on it so it's up for sale. It is the Hayden signature edition, has only 590 miles, bought from Tim O'niel New in March 2005. No modifications have been done to it, everything is stock. I must sell it asap. Please contact me at 402-990-1068 if you are interested. I can also email pics. Thanks

Where is the bike located? If it's a stock 2004, then everyone here should know what it looks like. No need for pics. Quick question though: have you considered getting rid of the fiancee and keeping the bike? I'm sure there are lots of guys here that would fill that position
Girl that buys an RC51 for her not-even-husband-yet? We should all be so lucky

You rock!

The bike is located in Plattsmouth, Nebraska... a suburb just south of Omaha. Well....the fiance is a keeper, and I have considered keeping the bike. But seeing as I just received my endorsement, thats probably not a good idea. I plan to start on something a bit smaller.. quite a bit smaller. Plus...I'm more into hotrods anyways. Know of anyone who would like to buy this bike? Im not even sure what to list the sale price as...I'm checking a few places locally to get some idea. Thanks for your reply, it definatly made me smile. --- Kristina

You(maybe) and him will regret that decision. If you aren't being killed by the payments you might as well keep it. Think of it as an investment.

PRICE $9,700 OBO...... I don't think I'll regret selling it, sitting on the back was very uncomfortable... plus the replacement for it is already on its way....my 86 Grand National. I like a lot of power.. but I like it on 4 wheels. Thanks for your replies. -- Kristina

Just so you know, you may be a little high on your price. You can pick up a brand new '03 for under $8500, and can probably come close to your price on an '05 at the right dealer.

Thank you for your reply, on my ad I also put OBO, showing that the price is not set in stone. The MSRP on the 05's are over $11k, this one is barely riden and is the Nicky sign ed which, I dont believe they have in the 05 model. Thanks for your reply.

The 05 stickers for 11k, last I heard they had chopped 2k off the price to move them. Doesn't really matter about the OBO. If I were looking and saw 9700 that is where I would stop. Your best bet is either Ebay or go to the local dealer and let them know you have it for sell. If they are cool, if someone comes in looking for a RC they will give them your info. I am not trying to discourage your sell just telling you the facts of how most men think.

Cool

Just a thought,if your really hot looking take a pic of you on the bike.
Then you can sign the bike for the lucky buyer.
The Nicky signature is only a decal!!

WTB 2004 RC51 Nicky Hayden Edition

Read this.......dude is looking for your bike. (2004 model)

You obviously never bought/sold recreational vehicles before to think that they hold their value so well. 2004's can be bought new, no miles, out the door, from dealers, for 9k......... not saying their a dime a dozen, but the signature model is the ONLY model that was out in 2004, and are worth no more than any other 1-2 year old RC51. It's only worth more if someone needs a signature tank, and you have one to sell. The entire decal kit is available through Honda.

I have a 2003. It's now got 2500 original miles and tons of aftermarket goodies, includes all the parts to return it to stock, and It's barely worth in the 8k range, and I bought it one year old, 8 miles on the clock,......for $8600, OTD.

Not busting your stones, just stating a fact.

However, what's good for YOU, is there are only 2 other 2004's on Ebay right now. Yours would be the nicest of them all......... You should be able to get close. Did you get the extended warranty??? That may be tid-bit of bait to a buyer.........

Good luck.

I didn't really understand a word you just said, but was that a different way of saying the bike wasn't for sale anymore?

I was looking for a RC51 for my brother-in-law, but I'll take any Ducati owner jokes you may have.
