im very intrested as i had front end crash on fri night car jumped the lights all panels totalled, do you have the black v piece aswell part behind the front wheel. how much postage to england, doesnt have to be quick as fixing bike will take a little while

I sent it via the post office, to avoid overseas duties I had it sent surface which they informed me would take 4-6 weeks.

thanks advocatt. clarkandgrilli actually gave me a heads up. i did some research, and apparently this little **** has dicked around people on other boards too. his name is eric wai and he goes to school at usc. he's from los altos (just south of me) and his parents still live there. if i don't hear from him by tomorrow, i am going to contact his parents to see if they can help. if not, it's off to file a police report and small claims. the good thing is that he's not going to be hard to find...

I PM'd him cause he had a small and I wanted it for my girlfriend...he sent his number and it was 650...I said great I am in Mountain View..he said he was from Los Altos, but down in LA at SC....I wanted my girlfriend to try it on so I just blew it off....glad I didnt go for it...
This really pisses me off since I sell a lot of stuff, and specifically on and off eBay, where trust is important...moto people are some of the most trustworthy, responsible and standup types you will ever meet, it comes with the territory...if you ride a very powerful sportbike you usually have a certain amount of personal responsibility...in over 500 transactions on eBay and countless more off, over the course of 6 years, I think I was only mildly burned one time...
I deleted his PM's with the numbers, so I am no help there maxboxa, but it sounds like you have the info you need....if there is anything I can do let me know, sounds like I am in your neck of the woods.....If this is all true, this punk needs to be put down like the rabid maddog that he is!!

thanks rothmans. i was actually contemplating bidding on your plastics and decided not to and go for a custom paint job.
i do a lot of online transactions on other forums and ebay as well. like you, i've only been burned once. and the kid was eventually caught but my money was never returned. that was only $125. i was more concerned with the scammer getting caught. in this case, my money is priority and i'm not going to stop chasing until this guy comes forward.
this kid seemed like a stand up guy over the phone. and that's what sold me. i let my guard down. never again.

I think he is reffering to Advocatt...but I am not sure. So what is your plan of action with this guy? I think you should go to the authorities right away....I mean you could allways handle it personally but I think it would be easy to nail this guy the legal way too....
